UF systems are mainly used for drinking water purification or pre-treatment before reverse osmosis to remove turbidity, suspended solids, viruses, color and some organic materials.  <br>Ultrafiltration is a membrane separation technology based on a semipermeable membrane used to separate solutions containing beneficial and non-beneficial compounds. The pressure difference is the driving force for the flow to pass through the membrane.
